I need to find a sales receipt from a car I purchased. The dealership closed down a few months ago. Any ideas?
Two years ago I bought a car from a used car lot. I wrecked the car shortly after. Now problems have arisen with the insurance company, and they need to know the date and time the car was purchased. Unfortunately I do not have the original receipt of purchase, but the used car lot should have a copy. They closed down recently and I need to find an archive where they keep their old files. Any ideas on where I could find this information, or if there is an easier way?

Thanks!
