how can i prove my car doesn't work and has been sitting to dmv so i won't have to pay an uninsured motorist fee.
the car has been sitting in my yard since june of 2007. I cancelled the insurance but forgot to turn in tags.

I'm in the same situation. Did you ever figure it out? I REALLY do not want to pay near $600 for something I didn't do. Please help if you can. Thanks!
