My NC inspection sticker expires today and I am out of town. Is there a grace period for getting my car inspected
Today is the last day to get my car inspected. My NC inspection date is marked Jun and I am out of town. Is there any grace period in NC for me to get my car inspected and get a new sticker?

My vehicle is due for inspection, but I will be out of the state. What do I do?
A person who is out of state may obtain an emissions inspection in the jurisdiction where the vehicle is located in lieu of an inspection in North Carolina as long as it meets the requirements of 40 C.F.R 51.
