Status: Open

Car in NC but owned, registered, insured, plates etc. are from NY. Inspection about to expire. What do we do?
Car is currently in NC. Driver is living in NC living with fiancee and NY Inspection is about to expire. The car is titled to her parents, insurance, plates, etc. are in her parents name, but car is in NC with her. She got a NC driver's License. She wants to keep the car in her parents name and on their insurance. How do we get this car inspected in NC to keep in compliance with the law and keep the car & her on her parents insurance. She is 22 and just graduated from college in NY and moved down to NC.
