HOW TO APPLY FOR ABANDONED VEHICLE TITLE?

BOUGHT A CAR AND HAD THE TITLE NOTORIZED AT THE BMV. I DID NOT HAVE $ AT THE TIME TO TRANSFER TO MY NAME. MEANWHILE THE PREVIOUS OWNER TRIED TO BE SLICK AND APPLIED FOR A LOST TITLE.WHICH VOIDED THE NOTORIZED TITLE. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

This situation has a lot of possible legal ramifications. I think your best advice is to deal directly with the KY Cabinet of Transportation so you can follow the steps they'll need you to take.
