Under the financial responsibility laws of Illinois, every driver should carry atleast the following property damage liability insurance coverage amounts on their policies:*  $15,000 - Liability coverage for damage or destruction of (another person’s) property.Of course it wouldnt hurt to buy more if you want since you never know how much money you'll need to shell you shoud you destroy or damage properties during a car accident
