i'd like to have extencion for my registration,and my car aborted from the smog inspection.Can i still have exten.

My car fail from smog check and this is second time i m trying it to pass the smog and it's aborted already 3 times.Can i have extencation with aborted smog inspection paper? thank you have a nice day
