CA resident, husband is active duty military stationed in WA, can I keep my car registered in CA?
I am a CA resident with a permanent address in CA, drivers licensed in CA as well. My husband is active duty military going to be stationed in WA for the next year, We are moving from oversees back to the states and will be registering two new (used) cars. Can I register them in CA since this is my home of record?

Answers

The cars must be registered where you live - no matter where you are from. So, ya, the cars need to be registered in WA while you live there and you will have a WA license and insurance.
